Lake Georgetown may be one
of the best kept secrets around. Opened in 1980 with the completion of a dam on the North fork of the San Gabriel, this 1310 acre oasis has everything a water enthusiast could want. All the land around the lake is owned by the Corp of Engineers and it provides for activities ranging from swimming, camping, skiing, and fishing. The more adventurous can hike the 16 mile scenic "Good Water Trail" surrounding the lake. |
