Walking around the historic
Georgetown Square is like
taking a walk through time. An
$8 million restoration effort in
the mid 1980's helped
recreate the atmosphere of a
time long ago. If you look
closely you can still see the
steel rings pounded in the
limestone curbs for hitching
horses. The building pictured
left was built in 1900 and was
originally the Masonic Lodge
Where the Order of the
Eastern Star once conducted
secret fraternal meetings.
